Are you exceeding your mailbox quota?
Are you getting reminders that you are exceeding your mailbox quota and exceeding your limit? If so, follow these steps:
(1) Tools >> Email Accounts >> View/Change existing email account
(2) Highlight account, and click on ‘change’ button
(3) From the tab menu, click on ‘Advanced’
(4) Scroll down to ‘Delivery’ section
(5) You have the option of deleting the mail immediately after you pull it down locally to your PC. To do so simply leave exactly as shown in screenshot.
If you wish to keep a copy of the mail on the server after you pull it down, check the tickbox ‘Leave a copy of message on server’, and then configure as required.
Important note: if you elect to keep a copy of the mail on the server you, and you frequently get email, ensure that you do not exceed your mailbox quota otherwise you will find that mail will start to bounce causing people to no longer be able to reach you. If this happens, simply log in via webmail access and clear the mail out from the server that way.
